Account deactivated - Multiple account recognition

#21

Hello @Wragby,

This is Wade from Amazon here to assist.

The posts in this thread indicates your account was deactivated for being related to another account and you have still not been able to appeal this deactivation.

It sounds though you may have opted for global registration which allows sellers to create selling accounts in multiple Amazon stores worldwide through one registration application. You can log into all of the accounts using a single email address and password because the accounts are connected and use single sign-on in seller central. You might believe you only have one account because you only need one set of login information, but if you enrolled in more than one region, that may not necessarily be the case.

To resolve your issue, you must login to each marketplace from the drop down in seller central and navigate to the performance notifications to see any outstanding issues.

Once you find the issue and remediate it and the related account is reactivated, you may then come back to your primary account and request reactivation as well. Once reactivated you can go ahead and close any other marketplaces you do not wish to sell in.

Kindly post in the same thread if you need more assistance we’d be more than happy to assist you

Regards,
Wade.

Thanks @Wade_Amazon. So, I have been asked to provide a letter of authorisation. As a sole
Trader, I have to submit a letter from myself that authorises me to sell on Amazon signed my me. I have looked on the forums and submitted a letter from me saying that the names person (me) is authorised by me to sell on Amazon. This is crazy!
I have done this but it was rejected as “we were unable to verify some of your primary contact information” and that the letter is an “invalid document”. I can’t contact Amazon help as my account is deactivated. I am going around in circles!
This whole situation is mad.

Go to settings - account info - identity info
Does it say sole proprietor followed by your own name (not business name)
And did you upload your UTR number ?

#24

Yes, I have.

#25

And is it your name under sole proprietor ?

Hello @Wragby ,

I’m Jordan from Amazon. I’ll be glad to assist you.

I gather that your account has been deactivated for being found related to another account.

Generally, if an account is deactivated for being found associated with another account, a Letter of Authorization (LOA) will not be asked. If you have been asked to provide that document, kindly share the screenshot in the same thread, so that we can look into it and help you further.

Like @Wade_Amazon mentioned,

Recommending you to follow these steps to get your account reinstated.

Regards,
Jordan.

Hi Jordan,
I have attached a screen shot of what I have been asked to supply. How can I provide evidence that I haven’t owned something!!! This situation is ridiculous…

Done and this hasn’t resolved anything!
I have also uploaded a letter from HMRC with my UTR on it. However, the tax code Amazon have for me is wrong and som wont match the UTR; I cant change the tax code that Amazon have registered for me!

Jordan hasn’t been seen since he last posted

why is your UTR wrong on amazon ?

what other sites do you have - just USA or japan and mexico etc ?

#31

Hi @Wade_Amazon, I have the same issue in that my account is deactivated for multiple seller account violation. I have followed the instructions and gone to each global market place and checked for performance notification.

The only performance notification relates to the account deactivation for multiple seller account . As there is no other performance notification, I cannot fix an issue I cannot see and unable to reinstate account.

Please advise what steps I should take next? Thanks

#32

Check if any of the global sites require identity information updating

#33

My tax code is wrong as I entered a different one before I had registered for self assessment.
I have multiple countries listed.

#35

OK, you’ll need to ask SS to reopen that legal entity section so that you can change your UTR number

It’s possible that the other sites are just awaiting ID verification

#36

Yes, correct

#37

Thank you, but, how do i do that? Because my account has been deactivated, I cant contract Seller central for help. It is so backwards!

#38

Sorry don’t know , amazon are quite strict on your entering the correct information to start with

Hopefully @Maja_Amazon can advise

@Mary_Amazon @Abella_Amazon @Wade_Amazon @Jordan_Amazon
Can anyone help? I am still going around in circles with one. This is email I have received from amazon:

I have no idea what amazon want for me! I set up this amazon seller account and called it “Wragby”. The evidence that I own this account is the fact that I can login into it and have all the security details for it. I don’t own any other account so how can I provide evidence that I don’t own something?! I cant provide a receipt for something I have never bought?! I have repeatedly asked amazon through the support pages amazon refuse to contact me and I have no way of contacting you! Any cases I have opened have been closed without being answered. Whilst the status says “answered”, there is no answer! This is a completely absurd situation!

@Abella_Amazon @Maja_Amazon can you help? This is a ridiculous situation and I’m stuck!
